Tracklife

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Tracklife (“Tracklife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a service that track & field clubs use to record their athletes’ results and to communicate with athletes and families. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to tracklife.run and the per-club subdomains where we host each club’s site.

Your club (the organization that invited you) decides what athlete information to enter and uses Tracklife as its tool. We act as the operator of the service for the club.

A note for parents — children under 13. Some athletes tracked in Tracklife are under 13. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) applies to their information, and we take it seriously. We obtain a parent or legal guardian’s verifiable consent before we collect or use the personal information of a child under 13, and a child under 13 never receives their own login — a parent manages their information. See “Children’s privacy & parental consent” below for the details and for how to review or delete your child’s information.

Information we collect

Athlete information (entered by your club’s coaches and/or by a parent)

Account information (for the adults who sign in — owners, coaches, and parents)

Information generated while using the service

Information collected automatically

We do not collect biometric identifiers, government-issued identifiers, precise geolocation, or any information used for behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly let a child under 13 create their own account.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to serve targeted advertising.

Children’s privacy & parental consent (COPPA)

Because clubs track athletes under 13, COPPA governs how we handle those children’s personal information. Our approach:

Parental rights

As a parent or legal guardian, you may at any time:

To do any of these, contact your club or email us at [email protected]. We will take reasonable steps to verify that you are the child’s parent or guardian before acting, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you withdraw consent, we will stop collecting and using your child’s information and will delete it as described below. You can consent to our collection and use of your child’s information without agreeing to any disclosure of that information to third parties for their own purposes — and, as explained next, we don’t make such disclosures.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising. We share information only in these limited ways:

Data retention & deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We delete a child’s personal information when it is no longer needed for those purposes, when an athlete leaves the club, or upon a parent’s or club’s request.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including isolating each club’s data, encrypting data in transit, restricting access by role, and storing passwords only as secure hashes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to maintain a written security program.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here with a new “Last updated” date. If we make a material change that affects how we handle children’s information, we will provide renewed notice to, and obtain renewed consent from, parents where the law requires it.
